Hello and welcome to my new blog, “2 Close 2 the Screen.” Here, I will be writing articles about the past, present, and future of movies and television. I have grown up watching both on their respected screens and now I’m letting you know what I think about all of it.
A large amount of my life can be traced by whatever movie I saw or whatever show was on TV. I have always loved being enthralled, being amused, and being taken away by these forms of entertainment. Some of my fondest memories include a movie or TV show playing somewhere. Because of my passion, having a career in the industry has always been a dream of mine. I’ve wanted to be everything under the Hollywood sun, from director to actor to screenwriter. As I try to make it, I need something to keep the fire lit. This is where this blog comes in.
What can you expect from this blog? You can expect to hear from a guy who just loves movies and TV. I don’t have ins with top studio executives or A-list actors. What I can offer are the latest updates in the industry and my thoughts on them, opinion pieces on where Hollywood is going and where it has been, and opportunities for you, the readers, to comment and get involved.
